The bibliography was published in The Siege of Quebec and the Battle of the Plains of Abraham, volume 6. This volume which was also identified as Appendix Part III included an index to the entire 6 volume set. The bibliography itself was divided into three sections which included: Part I, Books and pamphlets; Part II, Manuscripts; and Part III, Plans and engravings.
A note au verso to the title page in the separate publication, indicated: "The Bibliography is taken from the sixth volume of "The Siege of Quebec and the Battle of the Plains of Abraham" by A. Doughty and G.W. Parmelee.--One hundred and fifty copies have been printed separately." The separate publication consisted of numbered pages 1-161, which would indicate that this publication was not simply printed off without alteration from volume 6.
Wilson Collection copies of The Bibliography of the Siege of Quebec, bound in dark blue leather with a gold embossed Wolfe Family coat of arms on the front cover, and the bibliography as published in Volume 6 of The Siege of Quebec and the Battle of the Plains of Abraham were reviewed.
