Doughty, Arthur G., M.A., The Life and Works of Alfred Lord Tennyson, London: Thomas Moring, [1893].

Wilson Collection copy contains a note written and signed by AGD: "1st copy of 1st Edition, June, 1894, though this appears to be a loose page with some words at the bottom clipped. The Prefatory Note signed by Arthur Doughty identified this copy as No. XXIII [23]. The stamped assertion that the Wilson Collection copy is " library of Sir Arthur Doughty" is a suspect addition by a book dealer.

Binding is similar to the binding on Rose Leaves, 1894, which was also published by Thomas Moring (London), and printed at Chiswick Press: C. Whittingham and Co., Tooks Court, Chancery Lane. The Montreal Gazette, 20 April 1893, noted its publication, describing it as "printed on handmade paper" and "enriched by three very handsome photogravures".
